Knowledge should evolve like code.
Every great tool starts with a frustration. Ours was the realization that valuable human knowledge is trapped inside closed platforms, slowly rotting away.
Problem×The Platform Lock-In Trap
In modern workflows, whether you are a student, an operations manager, or a developer, your knowledge is treated as dead text. Study guides, playbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are scattered across disconnected wikis and cloud docs.
Because these documents are static and trapped in proprietary databases, you are forced to build your workflows around the platform. When you switch services or scale, your documentation is left behind, drifts from reality, and becomes obsolete.
The First-Class Asset Vision
We decided to flip this relationship. We believe knowledge should exist as self-contained, open-source packages that you own completely. Instead of building knowledge around a platform, we built a platform that fits around the natural lifecycle of your assets.
By treating knowledge like code—giving it version-control, dependencies, and dynamic lineage—we can free it from proprietary lock-in. But for portable assets to be useful, they needed a home.
